Here’s how you would make money with it:
 

Step 1:

Go to any video site, like youtube.com, break.com or metacafe.com etc. Look for a crazy piano video or a really cool video where the person is demonstrating some serious piano skills, like this (watch the first 60 seconds):

Step 2:

Create a short webpage. Give it a really interesting headline that your end user will find appealing. Show the cool video underneath it.

 

Embed it on your site so you can watch the video on the website as well.

Step 3:

Underneath the video, tell people a story. Tell them how you came across the video. An example could be that one Saturday afternoon you were just browsing online. You were looking through Google video.

 

Then you came across this crazy piano video. Tell them that you thought they should see it because if you simply told them about it, they will probably not believe you.

Note: Once they see the video, they should have a feeling of awe/amazement and be very impressed with what they see. Don’t use a poor video or this technique wont work.

Next, tell them what’s even more crazier, is that you've actually found a way that they can learn how to do this as well.

 

Step 4:

At this point, what I would do is to collect their e-mail address and get them to opt in to an auto responder list.

Next, read a few piano articles online, and ask questions on the forum. You may also want to answer other people's piano questions. Make it clear you have a little knowledge after reading some piano articles. There's no need to pretend you’re an expert or anything.

 

Or simply just offer your opinion when other people ask questions.

Whatever you do, you want to be active in the forum. And you want to make sure that the information that you post on the board is useful. This will make sure your signature is seen often, and a lot of people will click on it.

Remember it is also very easy to ask a question and get an answer because you are in a forum where people love talking about their passion (in this case, playing piano).

You can also put together a short but valuable PDF file filled with information. It's doesn't have to take you a long time. Fill it with information you find in various online articles. Offer the PDF in the forum for free.
